UCF FINANCIAL AID
The processed results of the FAFSA must be received by UCF on or before March 1st to meet our priority date.

2007-2008 SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

The Whalen Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is available to either an undergraduate (at least junior standing) or a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering.  The student must be in excellent academic standing, must be an active participant in extracurricular/professional activities, and must not be scheduled for graduation prior to December 2007.

The ASHRAE Scholarships , in the amount of $1,500 (J. Wesley Floreth, R. Douglas Stone, Hall Condo, and John D. Simmonds), are available to undergraduate students in the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering.  Candidates must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA and be a member of the UCF AHRAE Student Chapter.   Applicants must submit a letter with expected graduation date, major, memberships, GPA, and a brief summary of their interest in HVAC Industry.

The Austin L. Grogan Memorial Scholarship , in the amount of $500, is available to graduate students in the MMAE Department, with preference given to materials major. Applicants must be in excellent academic standing, must have participated in appropriate scholarly activities, and must not be scheduled for graduation prior to December 2007.

The Department of Mechanical, Materials & Aerospace Engineering Excellence Awards , in the amount of $200 each, are available for undergraduate or graduate students in the MMAE Department (any track option).  Applicants must be in excellent academic standing, must have participated in appropriate extracurricular/professional and scholarly activities, and must not be scheduled for graduation prior to December 2007.
